I had a lot of fun going on a trek with this agency, the crew was very professional and took care of everything we needed - from making up the tents, carrying our stuff to making incredible food! Especially our guide Brandon who was smiling all the way, and the chefs Wilber and Juan.
I did the 5 days Inca trail everything was awesome great the tour Guide Ismael was absolutely amazing and any request was no problem to him. Our cook Julian he did really good job the food was very taste. Alpaca company is one of the best local company they look after every well the local people and provide all the equipments and doing many social proyects
I had a fantastic time hiking the Inka trail. The super porters and super chefs do an amazing job making the hike as easy and comfortable as possible. Unbelievable what those guys can do. Also, you can’t find better guides than Alex and Kenyo. Very friendly and informative. Can’t recommend them enough!
We had an amazing experience doing the 4day/3night Inca Trail with Alex and Kenyo! They were both fantastic guides and made the entire experience enjoyable and memorable. The porters also worked exceptionally hard to make everyone’s journey as comfortable as possible, and we really appreciated everything they did throughout the trek (the food was also 10/10!)
I highly recommend this company for the Inca Trail trek. Our group of 14 benefitted greatly from our experienced and very knowledgeable guides, Alexander and Kenyo. My daughter and I learned so much about the Inca civilization as well as many other details about the Andes and Peru. We were so well taken care of! The porters who carried our camping gear and set up everything at our campsite were amazing. And the cooks made us delicious meals - not “ we—are-camping” good meals, but truly delicious and healthy food. We truly enjoyed this challenging adventure and could not have done it without the amazing staff of Alpaca Expeditions!

This company and our guide, Hans, are just the best! The food was incredible, our guide was knowledgeable and caring, and the porters all worked so hard to make our trek enjoyable.
Lifetime experience
We had a great experience doing the Lares Trek to Machu Picchu. Our guide, Valentin, was amazing and made our journey unforgettable, answering all our questions, making sure we all had a good time, and adjusting the pace whenever needed. A special thanks to our chef, Miguel, for the top-quality meals, and to the porters who did a fantastic job and were always ready to help.

Juan Carlos and Romario were excellent guides! The trip was very well organized and when there were train issues they were on top of the situation and got us all back safely.
Do yourself a favor and choose Alpaca Expeditions
We had an amazing trip with Alpaca expeditions! When shopping for a tour operator you have many choices. You don't know what you don't know, but having completed the trip I now understand the importance of using a highly reputable well established operator. If things go wrong on the trail, there is no fixing it at that point. Trip could be ruined or worse. Having a solid team for safety is key. The extensive support and quantity of porters, and chefs and cook make the experience top notch. Each hiker has different needs and they are able to accommodate and make adjustments on the fly to help as needed. The food was unbelievable and prepared with high quality. On the last night they made an awesome cake for dinner to celebrate. Bernie and the rest of the team became like family. The history they shared each day and the personal stories they told added to the whole experience. Thanks Bernie and team for making this a once in a lifetime experience!

Bernie and the other tour guides, I found couldn’t do enough for us, also not forgetting the chefs and porters.
They always had a smile on their face and are extremely nice natured people.
I would highly recommend this trip with Alpaca and hunt out Bernie as your tour guide if you can!
