Todos los miembros del equipo de Alpaca son originarios de la región de Cusco y comparten contigo sus tradiciones e historia durante nuestras excursiones. Nuestros guías son todos titulados universitarios en turismo, historia e inglés. Nuestros chefs reciben formación cada febrero de la mano de un equipo de cocina profesional para aprender nuevas recetas y añadir variedad de platos principales para todos los gustos. Y todos nuestros porteadores son de los pueblos de HUARQUI, HUACAHUASI, PATACANCHA, QUISWARANI, CANCHACANCHA, QUEYUPAY, UMACHURCO y CCACCACCOLLO, y a menudo compaginan este trabajo con el cuidado de sus granjas en sus pueblos de origen. Just completed the 4 day Inca Trek. It was an amazing experience and Alpaca were excellent and highly recommended. Huge thanks to our guides Pillco and Brandon who couldn’t have done more and the porters and chef Gregorio for the wonderful food.
Gregorio was a phenomenal chef, the porters were superhuman and Brandon and Pillco were informative guides. Had a great time overall!
The most amazing experience. The Lares trek took us over an incredible mountain pass between two villages. We stopped along the way to learn about the Inka and see demonstrations. It felt both fun and meaningful. The food cooked by Teofilo and Valentina was absolutely amazing 4-course meals and it was so nice having horses carry our items and the tent set-up for us. Besides hiking, We went to hot springs, Maras salt mines, and Machu Picchu. Jose Santos was the most amazing, caring, good human. Beyond the information he shared, he was a good friend.
What an incredible experience where every need is taken care of along the trail. The guides, the porters and the chef are all amazing at making this trip a once in a lifetime trip. The food is not what you would ever expect for camping. 5 star meals for every meals. Of course machupichu is spectacular but if just ride the bus up instead of hike the trail you miss so many other incredible inca establishments. Highly recommend.

It was my best experience in my life, everyrhing was perfectly organized, the guides Sam and Jimmy were kind and funny and always took care of us, also porters and cook were great, the best food in Peru was definitely there. I appreciate work of each person.
Inka Trail-4 day/3 nights
Our 4 day/3 night Inka Trail with Alpaca Expeditions on September 17th-20th was an amazing experience from start to finish. Everything was taken care of. The guides Javier and Wilber were very knowledgeable, helpful and a lot of fun. The food was fantastic. The porters were top notch and always had everything set up when we got to camp. We were very taken care of.
The scenery is stunningly beautiful making every step along a very difficult hike well worth it.
I would highly recommend Alpaca Expeditions.
A very happy camper
Alpaca expeditions is very organized, thorough and service oriented. The way they spilt up the trail was a perfect way to warm us up for surviving Dead Woman’s Pass and giving us time to cool down to be able to enjoy arriving to the sun gate.
My three friend and I were fortunate to have been assigned to a group of lively friendly and courageous hikers. Our guide, Javier was a great fit with a perfect balance of efficiency and fun. Great sense of humor and full of good information about Inka history. The food was excellent! Alex, the chef, fed us like royalty and there was always more than enough food.
