Peru Packages offer fixed itineraries throughout Peru, including hotels, transfers, guides, and tours. Many people prefer not to deal with the hassle of arranging tours at each location. Therefore, we provide packages that include everything at different destinations, allowing us to manage all activities, including guides, transfers, bus tickets, and more. This makes it easier for you as you only need to communicate with our sales experts at Alpaca Expeditions, and we will handle everything for you.
Peru Packages are organized throughout various regions and destinations in Peru. You can choose from our selection the destinations and the number of days; we offer itineraries ranging from the longest at about 21 days to the shortest at about a week, depending on how long you are visiting our country. Additionally, we can personalize the itinerary according to your needs, and if there are any other destinations you wish to include in your package that are not on our list, we can accommodate that as well.
Tours and hotels are carefully selected; most packages are designed with 3-star hotels which offer private rooms, hot showers, breakfast, and Wi-Fi included. The prices are reasonable—not too cheap and not too expensive. However, if you prefer higher-ranked hotels, such as 4 or 5-star hotels, we can certainly upgrade your accommodations. The destinations included are some of the most unique in each location. However, if you decide to include anything else after reading the description of the tour, we can certainly accommodate your requests.
The Peru packages include some of the most amazing destinations in Peru, such as Lima, the coast of Peru including Islas Ballestas, the sand dunes of Ica, Nazca Lines, Arequipa (the White City), Colca Canyon (the deepest canyon in the world), Puno and Lake Titicaca, a bus or train ride along the Sun Road to Cusco, a city tour of Cusco, the Sacred Valley, either a 4-day or 2-day Inca Trail hike or a train ride to Machu Picchu, Rainbow Mountain, and a 4-day tour around Puerto Maldonado.
Our fixed packages include trekking tours on the Inca Trail for 4 days or 2 days. It’s important to note that you still need a permit for these hikes. We will inform you about this as long as you book the package well in advance so we can include the classic Inca Trail hike or the short Inca Trail hike to Machu Picchu. If you prefer not to hike, we can include a train ride along the valley so you can still enjoy Machu Picchu.
This package is typically conducted in a group, and you will most likely join a different group at each destination, which is a great opportunity to meet new people as you move through different regions. You will have a guide in each region, such as Lima, Arequipa, and Cusco. According to Peruvian laws, one guide cannot lead tours all around Peru; however, if you are in a large group and want to have a tour conductor who is not a guide but speaks English and can travel through Peru with you, this is possible at an extra cost. If you are hoping to do a private tour only for your family or group, it is possible to arrange this as well.
It is important to mention that meals are included in most of the tours. You will need to review the itinerary you are looking at, where we talk about food. When you are in the city and not on a tour, you will cover food expenses yourself as you will find nice restaurants and different foods you might like to taste. For example, if you are doing the Inca Trail hike, meals are covered along the way, as well as on the Amazon tour, Lake Titicaca tour, Rainbow Mountain tour, or Sacred Valley tour, among others. If you have any food restrictions, then we will absolutely accommodate you along the tours at no extra cost.
Simply select your preferred tour, visit our reservation form, and fill out the necessary information.

An unforgettable Inca Trail experience, worth every single step!
We completed the 4-day, 3-night Inca Trail with Alpaca Expeditions, and it was one of the best experiences of our lives. From start to finish, everything was incredibly well organized, and we always felt like we were in the best hands.
Our guides, Javier and Emerson, were absolutely amazing. They were knowledgeable, funny, passionate, and always made sure everyone in the group was doing well. They shared so much interesting information about the history, culture, and nature along the trail, while also keeping the atmosphere fun and motivating. They took perfect care of us throughout the entire trek, and we couldn’t have asked for better guides.
A huge thank you also goes to our chef, Sebastian. Every single day he prepared multiple delicious meals that completely exceeded our expectations. We were truly spoiled with incredible food, and it’s hard to believe what he was able to cook in the middle of the mountains!
The equipment carried and set up by the porters was excellent. Everything was clean, well organized, and always ready when we arrived at camp. The entire team worked incredibly hard and made the experience comfortable from beginning to end.
The hike itself was fantastic. Day 1 was a great warm-up, Day 2 was definitely challenging, but reaching the two mountain passes and enjoying the breathtaking views made every step worthwhile. Day 3 was much easier and gave us time to fully appreciate the beautiful surroundings. Then on Day 4, walking through the Sun Gate and seeing Machu Picchu appear in front of us was simply magical. It was the perfect ending to an unforgettable journey.
We would choose Alpaca Expeditions again without hesitation. It was absolutely worth it and far more rewarding than simply taking the train.
Highly recommended!
Best Regards Luca & Lea :)
The best experience ever
This was one of the best and challenging hiking trails I’ve done . We had the best guide Rodrigo and motivated us throughout the trail

It was beyond my expectations. Our guide Nilton was so knowledgeable in all things Inca and the health and wellbeing of his hikers. The food the was set up and offered during our hike was superior along with hotels and restaurants that were included. I would recommend this company to anyone one ask.
Great experience
We are so happy we booked our Salkantay trek with Alpaca Expeditions. The logistics were so well organised and the staff - our guide Wilbert and our cooks Avelino and Eusebia - were absolutely amazing! Wilbert had so much knowledge of the local area and taught us a lot about the geography and history of the places we visited. He allowed us to go at our own pace and supported us the whole way through.
The hike is not an easy hike due to the altitude and the elevation, so you need to be in good physical condition and acclimatised to the altitude. Some sections are also narrow with steep drop offs and the trail was affected by land slides in some areas. It made me feel safer knowing our guide knew the trail very well and had oxygen in case of an emergency.
