Computer Teacher, Llullucha School

In an ever-changing world, education is a right and Alpaca Expeditions is adding the largest number of efforts to achieve the objective of having an optimum degree of education. Education in remote populations of Peru such as the town of Llullucha which located at more than 4000 meters above sea level. Internationally it has been demonstrated that the key pillar for having a good resource for learning starts with the TEACHERS.

Primary children between 4 and 12 years of age who don´t have the opportunity in their area to learn Office and Computer skills to help advance them into the digital age. Undoubtedly, this project excites and motivates the children of this area, and the technology aspect attracts them to learn about computers. Alpaca coordinates the educational center “LLullucha IEN 50542” and has made constant visits to monitor the learning progress of the of these children who are the future of our society. Alpaca also wants to take this time to thank our hikers for helping us by supporting this project. With supplies and teachers, we help provide an opportunity for these children and at the same time improve their lives.

• To establish the importance of the history that preceded us.
• To enhance the values and cultural identity of the new generations.
• To facilitate mechanisms that guarantee equal opportunities and non-discrimination of economic and/or social grounds for children from remote communities.
• To maintain our vision of supporting the local communities by reinvesting in them.

This exercise was to promote the inclusion and rights of children and young people in situations of social vulnerability of remote populations, through the development of cultural interventions to the areas of the Sacred Valley of the Inca.

Training in basics of project management to implement a model of cultural intervention of the local areas that is sustainable over time.
