Pampallacta Alto CommunityPisac District
On Sunday, December 7, 2025, Alpaca Expeditions carried out a new Cultural Sundays experience in the community of Pampallacta Alto, district of Pisac, Cusco – Peru, reaffirming its commitment to education, cultural identity, and the development of Andean communities.
During this experience, the children took part in a visit to the Pisac Archaeological Site, where they learned firsthand about the history, cultural value of the site, and the importance of preserving ancestral heritage. Through educational and hands-on activities, pride in their cultural heritage and a deeper connection to their roots were strengthened.
At Alpaca Expeditions, we believe that learning through experience is a powerful way to plant identity and cultural awareness in new generations.
