Before embarking on your Inca Trail trip of a lifetime, it’s important to take care of basics and determine what to bring for your trek. Alpaca Expeditions has made countless treks into the Andes with travelers from all over the world. We have a good understanding of the travel essentials you should include on your packing list. Having these items will help ensure that your trip goes smoothly and that you have everything you need to for experiencing this remarkable part of the world.

Travel Essentials

As you make your Inca Trail travel checklist, be sure to include some absolute essentials that include:

  • Your valid passport
  • Your immigration card (you should receive this on the plane)
  • Water storage (enough to hold 2-3 liters)
  • Comfortable hiking boots
  • Valid student card (if you booked your trip as a student)
