English Teacher in Llullucha Town
Cultural Sundays by Alpaca Expeditions
"Education is the most powerful weapon you can use to change the world."
- To establish the importance of the history that preceded us.
- To enhance the values and cultural identity of the new generations.
- To facilitate mechanisms that guarantee equal opportunities and non-discrimination of economic and/or social grounds for children from remote communities.
- To maintain our vision of supporting the local communities by reinvesting in them.
This exercise was to promote the inclusion and rights of children and young people in situations of social vulnerability of remote populations, through the development of cultural interventions to the areas of the Sacred Valley of the Inca.
Training in basics of project management to implement a model of cultural intervention of the local areas that is sustainable over time.
In a continually changing world, education is a right, and Alpaca Expeditions is leading the efforts to achieve this goal of having an optimal level of education. In remote towns of Peru like the town of Llullucha, which is more than 4000m, education is imperative. Having great educational resources begins with teachers. At the international level, this is continually proven to be the case. In these remote areas, primary school children between 4 and 12 years of age don´t have the opportunity to learn office and computer skills. These are important to have to move forward in the digital age. The program that we have here motivates the children to learn these skills.
Alpaca Expeditions, in coordination with the educational center LLullucha IEN 50542, monitors the learning progress of these children who are the future of our society. So, on September 22nd, Alpaca Expeditions volunteered to see the development of the children. All of this would not be possible without help from our trekking clients. Thank you all for supporting this project with us. The fact that you have booked an excursion through Alpaca Expeditions means that you are making a difference in the lives and future of these children. With supplies and teachers, we help provide an opportunity for these children and improve their lives.
"The teaching that leaves its mark is not that which is done from head to head, but from heart to heart. Howard g. Hendricks
