Day 1: Welcome to the Sacred Valley
Your adventure begins with a private pickup from your hotel in Cusco at 7:00 AM. Our comfortable Alpaca van/bus will take you to your first stop: the Manos de la Comunidad animal rescue center. Here, you’ll learn about the center’s mission to rescue and rehabilitate animals. Interact with llamas, alpacas, vicuñas, and condors, gaining insight into the lives of these remarkable creatures.
Next, immerse yourself in the local culture at the community of Caccaccollo. Engage with villagers, discover traditional textiles, and savor local Quechua snacks. This interactive visit offers a glimpse into the heart of Andean life.
