Planting Life: Reforestation Campaign in the Community of Ccaccaccollo
On February 8th, 2026, our Alpaca Expeditions guides joined hands with the community of Ccaccaccollo, in the district of Taray, for a meaningful reforestation initiative aimed at restoring and protecting the Andean landscape.
🌱 Planting the future, one step at a time.
Together with members of the community, we planted trees that will help strengthen the local ecosystem, protect the soil, and create a greener environment for future generations.
At Alpaca Expeditions, we believe that every journey through the Andes carries a deeper responsibility. Protecting these mountains, their communities, and their natural heritage is also part of the adventure.
Today we plant trees.
Tomorrow we grow hope. 💚🦙
